he answer to that question is “YES” — you CAN take The TOEFL In Russia.  As of:  Wednesday — July 12th, 2023 — There ARE Indeed TOEFL Testing Dates & TOEFL Testing Locations In Russia.  There are also multiple Official TOEFL Testing Centers In Russia where one can take The Internet-Based Version of The TOEFL Exam.  (This is the standard version of The TOEFL Exam in 2023.)

s with anywhere in the world — The availability & reliability of The TOEFL Exam in Russia is based on many factors:  Political Atmosphere, Military Conflict, and any other ridiculous non-sense that our governments get us into.  However, the main factors that determine whether or not The TOEFL will be available in any region is based on:  Demand For The Exam & Availability Of Viable Testing Centers.

ecause of this — the organization that created and administers The TOEFL Exam stopped support for The TOEFL in Russia for almost a year, as some idiotic way of protesting the Russians in the war against Ukraine.  Which really only punished the Russian students, and had no effect on the Russians that they have a problem with at all.  It is only recently that they have decided to allow the support for The TOEFL Exam again in Russia.  However — they have only made it available at ONE Official Testing Center, in ONE City out of all of Russia!  So you can see that The TOEFL Exam is, clearly, NOT stable in Russia.  😾

s of the the date listed above — The Price Of The TOEFL Exam In Russia is:  $270 (US Dollars) — or:  24,535.22 Russian Rubles (RUB).  When you pay on-line with a Credit or Debit card, the currency is automatically converted.

he answer to this question is:  “Yes” — technically it is POSSIBLE to take The TOEFL At Home.  But I HIGHLY recommend NOT taking what is referred to as “The TOEFL Home Edition”.  ⛔  There are many reasons for this which you can Read About In Much Greater Detail Here.

he article linked above also contains a video that I made, explaining many of the concerns which I had about the “TOEFL Home Edition” when it first was released.  But since the making of the video — I have received MANY reports from people who lost their money on the exam because of technical difficulties with the company which monitors you while you take the exam.  And also because of the fascistic ways that they treat people during the exam.
