  1. Greetings Benvindo,

    Thank you for the message.

First of all, I need you to know that I am in no way affiliated with the organization that created and administers the exam so I can not give you any information as to why her name did not show up even though your credit card was charged. The only thing I can say about that is that you will have to take up the issue with the official organization.

However, as their customer service does not have a very good reputation for helping people resolve issues, I would suggest going directly to the testing center and asking them about it.

If you were given some sort of confirmation email when registering, then I would print that out and bring that as well.

If you should find that there is indeed, no record of her being registered, I would take up the charge with your credit card company, as this is not the first time that I have heard of something like this happening to people.

This is why I usually advise people to not register with the official website, but instead to register directly with an actual human being at the specific testing center.

I know that that advice is too late for you now – but if she still needs to register again, I hope that you can get your credit card company to cancel the charge, and then you can register with the actual testing center.

Again, I want to reiterate that I am in no way affiliated with the organization that created, administers, or takes money for the exam – nor am I affiliated with any testing centers. I am simply a man who prepares people for the exam. Therefore, my advice is coming – not as an “authority” or any sort of official – but only as a person who has heard of other such problems, and am trying to help people in these cases.

I hope that this helps, and I sincerely hope that you will be able to remedy this situation.

I you find a solution or would be willing to share any other information about this situation, I would greatly appreciate you sharing it with me so that I can create a blog post to help other people if they come across a situation like yours. If you should contact me again, you can do it privately here.

I wish you good luck, and success in this situation.

If there is anything else I can help with, please let me know. I am happy to help if I am able.

    Sincerely,

    -C.

  2. My daughter (Natalia Nsingi) has registered herself for the April 09 test and my credit card was charged for that. I was surprised when her name didn’t show up in the list of people supposed to take the test on Saturday at the US embassy in Luanda. She now wants to know if the May 21 is confirmed as the date for next available test. Please confirm.
